SWIFT are planning a global BCP exercise on October 25th 2026 which will result in delays to NZ domestic payment processing.

Sunday 25th October – The SWIFT Outage starts at 5 a.m. payment processing between NZ domestic Banks will be delayed until 5 p.m.

During this period, POLi services will remain fully available. However, for interbank payments, Merchants will not receive funds in their bank accounts until after 5:00pm (NZT) on Sunday 25th October.
